About Hindi Prachar Sabha

Hindi Prachar Sabha’ was a movement that emerged as part of Freedom Movement and the leaders who led the nation to ‘FREE INDIA’ felt the necessity of making a single Indian Language the National Language,and through that language unify the people and thereby intensify National Integration.
The Hindi movement in south India was started in the year 1918 by Mahatma Gandhi. The movement was inagurated by Dr.Besant under the presidentship at Gokhale Hall,Madras. The first Hindi class was started by Sri Devedasa Gandhi. Hindi Training Schools were started in Andhra and Tamilnad in which young men numbering multiplied 80 were trained in the year 1919 and 190. this number multiplied itself slowly and steadily, and to-day the movement can claim more than 7000 workers working in 6000 centres, covering the entire area of the four linguistic regions, viz. Tamilnad, Andhra, Keral and Karnatak, with an area of six and a half lakhs of sq. Kilometers with a population of about 120 millions.

About Karnatak University

The Karnatak University established initially at Mumbai in 1949, the location was shifted to Dharwad in October, 1949 and Karnatak University had its official inauguration in March 1950. The campus spans 750 acres (3 km²). Dr. D. C. Pavate was the vice-chancellor of the university from 1954 to 1967. The rapid development of the institution is credited to him.

The university was also recognized with the "Potential for Excellence" by UGC (University Grants Commission of India). The university is the second oldest, after University of Mysore, in the state of Karnataka.

About Punjab Joint Entrance Test

A Combined Entrance Test is conducted by the Punjab Technical University for admission to first year Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy courses in the colleges affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and Punjab University, Patiala. Admission to PTU Caparo School of Excellence in Manufacturing and Material Technology shall also be made on the basis of this entrance test. About GITAM

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, or GITAM for short, is an engineering college in India, located on the beach front of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. About CSIR

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) established in 1942, is an autonomous body and India's largest Research and Development (R&D) organization, with 39 laboratories and 50 field stations or extension centers spread across the nation, with a collective staff of over 17,000. Although CSIR is mainly funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, it operates as an autonomous body registered under the Registration of Societies Act of 1860.

CSIR Nehru Science Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Scheme

CSIR-Nehru Science Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Scheme

Eligibility: PhD degree holders within three years of award of PhD degree, or those who have submitted PhD theses. Applicants who are about to submit thesis are also eligible to apply, but their selection will be subject to the condition that they would have submitted thesis before the expiry of the validity of the award offer. Applicants should have research publications in high impact SCI journals.

Though CSIR Nehru Science Postdoctoral Research Fellowship is open to Indian nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), a certain number (up to 20%) of fellowships may be offered to foreign nationals.

Bank of Baroda (BOB) Clerical Exam pattern
The Bank of Baroda Clerical exam consists of written test and interview. Written test consists of following five sections:
1. Reasoning ability
2. Numerical ability
3. Clerical Aptitude
4. English
5. Socio-Economic, Banking Awareness and Computer Awareness
Candidates have to pass in each of the above tests and be very careful about negative marking. So be very careful when you attempt to answer a difficult question. Go through the booklet that comes with call letter.

Final marit list will be decided on the basis of marks scored in the written exam and interview.

Bank of Baroda, one of the leading public sector banks in India was established on July 20, 1908 by the Maharaja of Baroda, Sir Sayajirao Gaekwad III in the capital city of Baroda, Gujarat. It was nationalized on 19th July 1969 by the Government of India. Mr. M.D. Mallya is the present Chairman and Managing Director for the bank.

On the International front, Bank of Baroda has set up more than 72 offices in over 25 countries. It also has four representative offices abroad. The bank has a strong presence in well known foreign cities like New York, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Malaysia. In 2009, the bank got registered     with Reserve Bank of New Zealand allowing the bank to trade with full banking facilities.
 
Keeping in mind the importance of rural economy in India, Bank of Baroda has introduced interesting schemes for the farmers. The bank extends credit facilities to small and marginal farmers, agricultural labourers and other small scale rural industries like cottage industry entrepreneurs. These positive efforts have made BOB one of the popular banks in the rural India with a motto of ‘Self Reliant Rural India’.
