For the entry into highly appreciate and powerful career in Indian Administration basic eligibility is to write Prelims exam for civil service minimum qualification should be bachelor degree from recognized University and age limit should be 21 to 30age and candidates must be Indian Citizen. First phase of prelims exam is to be held in every May month of year. UPSC designing toughest question paper which consists of Paper I. which carries 150 marks with two hour duration to complete answers that contain General Studies which asks questions based on General Science, Indian History and Indian movement act, International news, Indian and World Geography, Mental Ability, Indian Politics and Economy. Syllabus is very vast to prepare for exam, though many toppers of Civil Service prefer many top leading magazine and highly skilled institution where they teach according to the scope of examination by solving several year question papers. Toppers also say to refer magazine related to business, politics and also newspaper of daily one, which is best way to prepare self for civil service prelims exam. And when we come to Optional subjects in that candidate has to select the subject according to their interest that means they have to give much preference to the subject which they took in degree level. There are twenty one subjects to choose out of that candidate can select any one which goes for 300 marks with three hours duration of answering.
