This Defence Entrance Examination is held twice a year for admission to two defence academy:
1) National Defence Academy
2) Naval Academy
UPSC conducts NDA Exam twice a year. Exam (I) is conducted in pril while Exam (II) in August.
NDA-II exam-2010 Dates/Schedule:
Notification of NDA-II Exam 2010 is on 20th March 2010
Last date of receiving application form is 19th April 2010
and for candidates from remote areas and abroad it is 26th April 2010
NDA-II Exam 2010 written Exam is on 22nd August, 2010
NDA-I Exam 2011 Dates/Schedule:
Notification of NDA-I Exam 2011 is on 16th October, 2010
Last date of receiving application forms is on 15th November, 2010
NDA-I Exam 2011 written Exam is on 17th April, 2011
NDA-II Exam 2011 Dates/Schedule:
Notification of NDA-II Exam 2011 is on 12th March, 2011
Last date of receiving application form is on 18th April, 2011
NDA-II Exam 2011 written Exam is on 21st/28th August, 2011

NDA Exam Eligibility:
Age requirement for NDA Exam:
Candidate must be Minimum of 16½, M - 19 years as on 1st, July 2011
Unmarries Male candidates are allowed to appear for NDA Exam
NDA Exam Academic Eligibility : Candidate must have passed Class-XII or equivalent examination. If you wish to apply to the
Air Force/Navy wings of NDA, you must have studied Physics & Maths in Class-XII however it is not a must if you wish to apply to Army wings of NDA.
If you are currently studying Class-XII, you can also appear for the NDA Exam provided you must provide the proof of passing the Class XII exam at a later date as specified by UPSC.
You also need to have minimum physical standard as as required by UPSC.

sir,i had a doubt in my mind,is whether if i m in 11th and when i give nda exams in april.ishall go in 12th,and if i cler,can i skip a term and join after passing 12th or i can join and submit it later.
