TANCET 2010 Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test 2010

Students who are willing to pursue PG Courses at Anna University, Tamil Nadu should appear for the TANCET Examination. Candidates from other states can appear for TANCET Exam.

TANCET Examination is conducted for admission to courses like M.Plan, M.Arch, M.Tech, M.E, MCA and MBA. 

Eligibility Criteria are mentioned below:

For MBA and MCA : Students applying for MCA and MBA courses should be a graduate from a recognised university in any

discipline. Those who appeared for final year exam of graduation can also appear for TANCET MBA/MCA.

For MTech/ME :  Students should be a BTech/BE graduate in the respective field. Those who appeared for final year exam of

graduation can also appear.

For MPlan/MArch : Students appearing for these course should have a bachelor’s/master’s degree in planning/architecture.

Those who appeared for final year exam of graduation/post graduation can also appear.

Application forms: You can get application forms directly from various centers notified in the advertisement. Hall Ticket will be issue on-spot. You can get form by sending DD along with the request for form. Candidates can also download TANCET

Important Tentative Dates:

TANCET Entrance Examination on May End, 2010

Availability of Application Forms: April 1st week, 2010

Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: April 3rd week, 2010

TANCET Exam 2010 will be held in varous centres like Chennai, Coimbatore, Chidambaram, Dindigul, Erode, Karaikudi, Madurai Nagercoil, Salem, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli, Trichy, Vellore, Villupuram, Virudhunagar.

TANCET Exam Pattern 2010: Exam will be of 2 hours duration consisting of multiple choice questions.

MBA and MCA exam will have 100 questions each.

ME/MTech/M.Arch/M.Plan will have separate compulsory and specialization sections.

There will be negative marking in all the exam.
