State Bank of India

State Bank of India is running success in today’s world; it is consider as one of the oldest bank in Indian history in 1806. State Bank of India offering many credit to drought hit farmers. The bank have introduced many schemes like crop loan, irrigation loan and reduced loan rates to farmers under special scheme for drought relief farmers from April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010. State Bank of India offer lowest loan rate in the country. In 2008 SBI collaborate with State Bank of Saurashtra. The bank is electronically networked across the country and has facility of Core Banking System. Presently SBI have 132 overseas centers and 64 branches under five subsidiaries. The ninth annual bank award held on November 26, 2008 with 148 countries with one bank from each country, and State Bank of India bagged Best Bank of the Year 2008 from India.
