Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) is a research-led University established by the State Act in 2007 and is promoted by Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC).
School of Nuclear Energy (SNE) aims at developing nuclear engineers who can effectively undertake career assignments in the global civilian nuclear power and other applications. The School focuses on developing an inquisitive and capable workforce that has a thorough understanding of nuclear engineering and is ready to contribute to both the local and global civilian nuclear industry. The School currently offers the M.Tech. Programme in Nuclear Engineering.
Applications for faculty positions are invited from qualified and highly motivated candidates in fields related to Nuclear Power Plants, including Nuclear Reactor Theory & Design, Reactor Thermal Hydraulics, Nuclear Power Plant Engineering, Nuclear Fuel Cycle, Electrical Systems, and Process Control. Candidates with appropriate qualifications and academic or relevant industry experience may apply for the positions of Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor. Faculty at PDPU facilitates the creation of a unique learning environment based upon academic freedom, self-monitored standards of excellence and an open process of interaction with students.
SNE offers an attractive remuneration package, research infrastructure and initial research support, liberal sabbatical and consultation norms.
