Applications are invited for faculty positions from candidates from all categories (General/SC/OBC) purely on contractual basis for a period of 6 months at the level of lectures in the Departments of Information Technology, production Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and also for the self-supported program of Computer Science & Engineering (Information Security)

2. Qualifications:
MTech/ME degree with first class at both undergraduate & post graduate levels in relevant discipline.

or

BTech/BE Degree in first class in relevant discipline with 2 years research/consulting experience with a lab or firm of repute.

or

BTech/BE degree in first class in relevant discipline with 2 years of experience in an industry with its in-house R7D approved by the DSIR.

3. Pay: Rs.25800/- (Consolidated)

4. The interested candidates should report for walk-in-interview with the application and all original documents in support of the application in the office of the director, PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh on 10th August 2010 at 11:30 am / 12:30 pm.
Preference will be given to OBC candidated who will be interviewed in the first session at 11:30 am only if suitable candidates from the OBC category are not available the candidates from other categories will be interviewed in the second session at 12: 30 pm.
