Vacancies: Professor/ Associate Professor

Applications are invited for regular appointment on under mentioned posts, so as to reach this office on or before 20 December, 2010 .in the prescribed form obtainable from the office of the Registrar, Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer on pre-payment of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC & ST applicants) in cash on the cash counter. Application Form can also be downloaded from website www.mdsuajmer.ac.in and may be sent duly filled along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC and ST applicant in favour of Registrar, M.D.S. University, Ajmer.

Notes :

1. The appointment shall be offered initially as a probationer trainee for a period of two years on fixed emoluments, in terms of the rules of direct recruitment communicated by the Govt. vide letter No. 15 (11)f'k{kk ¼xzqi-IV½ 2006 dated 6.9.2006 and as approved by the Board of Management.

2. The qualifications for the above post(s) shall be as per UGC norms. The details of qualifications etc. will be made available with the Application Form.

3. The University reserves the right to consider persons in absentia only for the post of Professor even though one has not applied.

4. Applications received on plain paper or after expiry of last date or incomplete or without supporting documents will be rejected without assigning any reason.

5. Applicants are required to apply separately for each post on prescribed form.

6. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC is available as per Section 10 of the Rajasthan Universities Teachers

& Officers (Selection for Appointment) Act No. 18 of 1974 and as per the directions of the Hon'ble

Chancellor dated 8-7-1998.

7. Retired persons need not apply.

8. Applicants, if called for interview, will bear their own expenses.

9. Applicants already in employment should send their applications through proper channel.

However, they may send an advance copy for which they will have to produce 'No Objection Certificate' before they are interviewed.

10. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill up the posts or to call only suitable candidates for interview. The number of posts likely to be filled may be increased or decreased.
