RECRUITMENT AGAINST EX-SERVICEMENT QUOTA

South Western Railway, Hubli is proposing to fill up 987 vacancies (SWR -960 and RWF 27) against Ex-Servicemen quota in Pay Band – 1 of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1,800/- (erstwhile Group - D categories) on various Divisions & Units over South Western Railway/Hubli and Railway Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore.
Eligibility Criteria: Ex-Servicemen who have retried after putting in 15 years of service and have passed Army Class – I Certificate or equivalent are eligible to apply.
Maximum age limit:
For UR candidates:
33 years + extent of military service + 3 years.
For OBC candidates:
36 years + extent of military service + 3 years.
For SC/ST candidates:
38 years + extent of military service + 3 years.
Mode of Selection: The recruitment shall be on the basis of scrutiny of applications.There will be no Physical Efficiency Test or Written Test. The panel will be formed on the basis of length of military service subject to medical fitness.
Those Ex-Servicemen who had applied in response to RRC/Hubli’s Employment Notice No.01/2007 dated 21-07-2007 also need to apply in response to this notification, in order to be eligible for consideration for this scheme of recruitment.
