EMPC, IGNOU, invites applications for the following vacancies on 6-month contract basis (Renewable) in Gyan Vani FM Radio Stations. Presently the contract to fresh candidates can be given up to a maximum period of Two years. The contract to Superannuated / Retired Staff can be given up to the age of 65 years (for Station Managers and Assistant Station Managers) and 62 years (for Accountant-cum- Office Assistants and Technical Assistants).
1. Station Managers (On a consolidated fee of Rs. 20, 000 to 25,000 per month)
Location- Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Patna, Guwahati, Indore, Jabalpur, Kanpur, Mumbai, Mysore, Panaji, Raipur, Visakhapatnam, Agra, Chandigarh, Cochin, Cuttack, Pune, Jalandhar, Shillong, Srinagar, Madurai, Tirunelvelli, Triruchirapalli, Thiruvananthapuram.
Qualifications & Experience:
(A) Post Graduate from a recognized university in any subject and a Degree / Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism (or related areas).
Minimum five years experience in Programme Production / Media Management in a supervisory capacity.
OR
(B) Superannuated / Retired Staff from AIR / DD / other central or state Govt. Broadcast organizations / private channels of repute having experience in management of production / broadcasting not below the rank of Assistant Station Director / Assistant Station Engineer.
2. Assistant Station Managers (On a consolidated fee of Rs. 15,000 to 20,000 per month)
Locations– Bangalore, Chennai Coimbatore, Guwahati, Riapur, Shillong, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra, Chandigarh, Cochin, Cuttack, Pune, Jalandhar, New Delhi, Srinagar, Madurai, Tirunelvelli, Triruchirapalli,Thiruvananthapuram.
Qualification & Experience:
(A) Graduate from a recognized university with Degree / Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism (or related areas) from a recognized university.
Experience in Programme Production / Programme Management / Journalism for at least one year. Preference will be given to those having experience in Audio Programme Production.
OR
(B) Superannuated / Retired Transmission Executive / Programme Executive / Assistant Engineer or above from AIR / DD / other central or state Govt. broadcast organization and private channels of repute.
3. Accountant cum office Assistant (on a consolidated fee of Rs. 8000 to 10,000 per month)
Locations- Allahabad, Chennai, Coimbatore, New Delhi, Guwahati, Mumbai, Mysore, Nagpur, Patna, Panaji. Raipur, Rajkot, Vishakapatnam, Varanasi, Agra, Chandigarh, Cochin, Cuttack, Pune, Jalandhar, Srinagar, Madurai, Tirunelvelli, Triruchirapalli, Thiruvananthapuram.
Qualification & Experience:
(A) Graduate in commerce from a recognized university. Suitable experience in accountancy, with competency in computer applications.
OR
(C) (B) Superannuated / Retired Accounts Officer / Accountant level officer of central / state government / PSU / University / private channels of repute.
4. Technical Assistant (On a consolidated fee of Rs. 8,000/ per month)
Location- Ahmedabad, Bangalore, New Delhi, Guwahati, Jabalpur, Lucknow, Patna, Raipur, Rajkot, Varanasi.
Qualification & Experience:
(A) Diploma in Electronics / Communication Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Institute / University.
Minimum one year experience in operation and maintenance of audio (studio) equipment.
Knowledge of Audio editing software will be preferred.
OR
(B) Superannuated / Retired E. A. or above from AIR / DD / other or central / state Govt. organizations / private channels of repute.
