Reader in the School of Health Sciences – 1 (GT–1)
MBBS Degree with P.G.Degree in any speciality and minimum 4 years of experience as Tutor / Lecturer in a recognized Medical Institution. Scale of Pay : Rs.12000-420-18300.
Lecturer in the School of Management Studies (GT - 1): Good academic record with at least 55% of marks or Grade-B in UGC 7-point scale at the PG level in Management from a recognized University. Besides candidates should have cleared NET / SLET for Lecturers conducted by UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC. However, candidates having Ph.D., Degree in Management are exempted from NET/SLET. Scale of Pay : Rs.8000-275-13500.
Lecturer in English in the School of Humanities [GT - 1]: Good academic record with at least 55% of marks or Grade-B in UGC 7-point scale at the PG level in English from a recognized University. Besides candidates should have cleared NET/SLET for Lecturers conducted by UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC. However, candidates having Ph.D., Degree in English are exempted from NET/SLET. Scale of Pay : Rs.8000-275-13500.
Lecturer in Journalism and Mass Communication: (GT – 1): Good academic record with at least 55% of marks, or, an equivalent grade of B in UGC 7-point scale at the Master’s Degree level in Communication / Mass Communication, Journalism from an Indian University, or an equivalent Degree from a Foreign University. Besides candidates should have cleared NET / SLET for Lecturers conducted by UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC.
However, candidates having Ph.D., Degree in Communication / Mass Communication / Journalism are exempted from NET / SLET. Scale of Pay : Rs.8000-275-13500. Experience in Educational Television Production & E-Content Creation and familiarity with IP based video conferencing techniques are desirable.
Assistant Registrar (GT - 1): Masters Degree with atleast 55% of marks or ‘B’ Grade in UGC Seven Point Scale and minimum 15 years of experience in Government / Government University service. Experience in Open and Distance Learning System preferable. Scale of Pay Rs. 8000-275-13500/-.
Junior Assistants – 5 [GT – 2, SC – 1, MBC – 1, BC other than BC Christians & BC Muslims – 1]: Graduates with working knowledge of Computer Office Applications and Typewriting Higher Grade in both Tamil & English. Shorthand lower grade in English & Tamil preferable. Scale of Pay : Rs.3200-85-4900.
