Bank of Baroda (BOB) Clerical Exam pattern

The Bank of Baroda Clerical exam consists of written test and interview. Written test consists of following five sections:
1. Reasoning ability
2. Numerical ability
3. Clerical Aptitude
4. English
5. Socio-Economic, Banking Awareness and Computer Awareness
Candidates have to pass in each of the above tests and be very careful about negative marking. So be very careful when you attempt to answer a difficult question. Go through the booklet that comes with call letter.

Final marit list will be decided on the basis of marks scored in the written exam and interview.

Bank of Baroda, one of the leading public sector banks in India was established on July 20, 1908 by the Maharaja of Baroda, Sir Sayajirao Gaekwad III in the capital city of Baroda, Gujarat. It was nationalized on 19th July 1969 by the Government of India. Mr. M.D. Mallya is the present Chairman and Managing Director for the bank.
 
Since then the bank has seen a phenomenal growth on the chart of the Indian banking sector. At present BOB is the third largest Public Sector bank in India after State Bank of India and Punjab National Bank. With an impressive network of more than 3000 branches, offices and around 1100 plus ATMs the bank has huge assets worth Rs. 2.27 lakh crores. The bank has been successfully engaged in offering various customer oriented services like varied banking products and financial services, offering service to the corporate and retail customers through its efficient banking network. The bank has been impressive in the area of investment banking, asset management and credit cards division.
                                                                            
On the International front, Bank of Baroda has set up more than 72 offices in over 25 countries. It also has four representative offices abroad. The bank has a strong presence in well known foreign cities like New York, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Malaysia. In 2009, the bank got registered     with Reserve Bank of New Zealand allowing the bank to trade with full banking facilities.
 
Keeping in mind the importance of rural economy in India, Bank of Baroda has introduced interesting schemes for the farmers. The bank extends credit facilities to small and marginal farmers, agricultural labourers and other small scale rural industries like cottage industry entrepreneurs. These positive efforts have made BOB one of the popular banks in the rural India with a motto of ‘Self Reliant Rural India’.
