1) Sale of AIPMT 2011 Bulletin starts on 13th December 2010 and closes on 31st December 2010
2) Online submission of AIPMT 2011 Forms starts on 15th November 2010 and closes on 31st December 2010
3) Last date to receive online and offline forms: 7th January 2011
AIPMT 2011 Prelims Examination : 3rd April 2011 (Sunday)

About CBSE AIPMT
CBSE PMT is a pre medical entrance test, taken at national level. It’s known as All India Pre Medical Test (APIMT) and taken by CBSE. This exam is taken each year for the 15% seats available for medical and dental degree courses in Indian medical colleges. APIMT test are taken in 2 steps: Preliminary Exam and Final Exam
Eligibility:
· You must pass the Higher Secondary Examination with minimum aggregate 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Biology with English as one of the subjects.
· You must have completed the age of 17 yrs.
· You can opt for this entrance exam only 3 times.

Admission Process:
· You can submit APIMT entrance test form online or offline.
· You have to pay the examination fees which may differ like this:
For General Candidate: Rs. 400
For SC/ST Candidate: Rs. 200
· You need to log on to www.cbse.nic.in for online submissions. The offline submission needed to be sent to Deputy Secretary for APIMT.
Examination Details:
Preliminary Exam
The Preliminary Exam of CBSE AIPMT has 200 Objective type questions about PCBZ (Physics, Chemistry and Biology and Zoology). The duration of exam is 3 hours. (Between 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
The Preliminary Exam has following questions format:
Total questions: 200
Total marks: 800
Number of questions:
Physics 50
Chemistry 50
Biology 50
Zoology 50
There is negative marking existed in this exam. For every wrong answer, 1 negative will be given.
Final Examination:
The final exam of CBSE AIPMT has 120 Objective type questions of subjects, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. The time duration is 3 hours (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM).
