1.(Vacancy No.10112101613) One Chief Instructor(Marine Engineer) in the Central Institute of Fisheries, Nautical and Engineering Training(CIFNET), Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture. Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent or MOT Class II or 1st Class Engineering (Motor Certificate of competency issued by the Ministry of Transport, Govt. of India. B. Experience : Seven years’ experience in operation / maintenance of Marine Engine or three years’ experience as a Chief Engineer or five years’ as second Engineer of an ocean going vessel. Desirable : Experience of imparting training relevant to educational qualification under “ B : Experience ” above. Duties : Training operatives in Marine Engineering subjects like Marine Engg. Workshop Technology, Electrical Technology and other relevant subjects. Supervision of activities of the Engg. Workshop, Maintenance of Fishing vessels, assistance to Director on technical matters. To drive suitable substitutes for parts of engine of foreign origin and available indigenously. To plan and execute the work connected with the repairs of the fishing vessels as required. To attend to any other responsibilities assigned by superiors. HQ : With all India transfer liability. The present vacancy is at Chennai. NOTE : The closing date for receipt of applications for Item No.1 is 11-01-2011. The date for determining the eligibility of all candidates in every respect for Item No.1 shall be 11-01-2011.

2.(Vacancy No.10112102213) Two Scientists- SB(Physical, Rubber, Plastic & Textile(PRPT) in National Test House, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. Out of two posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates. Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Master’s Degree in Physics(Pure / Applied) or Chemistry (Pure / Applied / Industrial) or degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology or degree in Textile / Rubber / Plastic / Paper / Leather / Polymer Technology of a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Three years’ practical experience in testing and evaluation of materials such as textiles, polymer, paper, leather etc. in a recognized laboratory. Desirable : Training in modern instrumental methods of testing textiles, polymer, paper, leather etc. Duties : Scientist SB(PRPT) is overall in charge of the laboratory and assists in purchasing of instruments etc for laboratory. Responsible for scrutiny of the samples in the light of prescribed guidelines and authorized to seek any clarification from the claimant relating to test before marking the same to

Scientific Officer / Assistant for testing. Responsible for checking the draft Report submitted by Scientific Officer / Assistant and also sign on the final test Report on behalf of D.G. Assist the Scientist SC in other technical matters. HQ : National Test House, Kolkata / Mumbai / Chennai / Jaipur / Ghaziabad and Guwhati.

3.(Vacancy No.10112103613) One Senior Scientific Officer, Grade-I(Armament) under Directorate General of Quality Assurance, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Defence Quality Assurance Service. The post falls in Un-reserved category but is reserved for Physically Handicapped persons with disability of Hearing Impairment(HH)or Orthopaedically Handicapped / locomotor disability or cerebral palsy(one leg affected). Qualifications: Essential : A. Educational : Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Four years’ practical experience in Production / Development / Quality Assurance in the relevant field. Desirable : i) Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese language. Duties : Preparation of specifications and vetting of documents pertaining to procurement of items / stores. Technical evaluation, testing, inspection and Quality Assurance activities of equipments, systems / sub-systems and stores indented by the Services pertaining to the relevant discipline. Creation of test facilities as per various laid down standards / specifications. Value engineering studies of items / stores. Product improvement, Indigenization and development work on systems / products. Interaction with the Industry and preparation of capacity / capability reports. Technical documentation. Administration of test labs.

4.(Vacancy No. 10112104213) One Senior Scientific Officer, Gr.II(Lie Detector) in Central Forensic Science Laboratory(CFSL), Central Bureau of Investigation, Ministry of Home Affairs. Qualifications : Essential : Educational : i) Master’s Degree in Criminology or Psychology from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Three years’ experience in Applied Psychology or Criminology / Crime Investigation. Desirable : Doctorate Degree relevant to EQ(ii) above from a recognized University or equivalent. Duties : Reporting officer of the division. Conducting the examination / analysis of exhibits in respective division. Deposing as an expert witness when called upon by the court of law. Research and development work in respective field. Supervision of the Scientific work of Scientific staff of the division. In the absence of SSO-I, SSO-II looks after the administrative works of the division. Any other duties assigned by the Director, CFSL.

5.(Vacancy No. 10112105613) Seven Deputy Central Intelligence Officers(Technical) in Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs. Out of seven posts, one post is reserved for SC candidates and two posts are reserved for OBC candidates. Qualifications : Essential : Educational : Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication

Engineering or Electronics and Tele- Communication Engineering or Computer Science / Engineering or B.E. / B.Tech in Information Technology or Master’s degree in Computer Applications or M.Sc in Physics with Wireless or Electronics as a subject from a recognized University or equivalent. Duties : To supervise the work relating to operation and maintenance of communication network. Maintenance and operation of equipment relating to cyber security / cyber forensics. Research & Development work, mainly dealing with electronics and telecommunication. To undertake & supervise the operational work assigned. Responsibilities for supervision, maintenance of communication equipments. To supervise the maintenance and operation of audio, video and CCTV equipments.

6.(Vacancy No. 10112106213) One Deputy Legislative Counsel(Hindi) in Legislative Department, Ministry of Law & Justice. Qualifications : Essential : Educational : A- i) Master’s degree in Law (LLM) from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Should be a member of State Judicial Service for a period of eight years. Or Should have held a post in the legal department of a State Government for eight years. Or Should be a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for eight years. Or Should be a qualified legal practitioner who has practiced as such for eight years. Or Should be a teacher of law for eight years in a recognized institution. Or Should have eight years experience of translation into Hindi of statutes, statutory rules and orders in Central / State Government. Or Should have eight years experience of drafting of statutes in Central / State Government ; OR B – i) Bachelor’s degree in Law(LLB) from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Should be a member of State Judicial Service for a period of ten years. Or Should have held a post in the legal department of a State Government for ten years. Or Should be a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for ten years. Or Should be a qualified legal practitioner who has practiced as such for ten years. Or Should be a teacher of law for ten years in a recognized institution. Or Should have ten years experience of translation into Hindi of statutes, statutory rules and orders in Central / State Government. Or Should have ten years experience of drafting of statutes in Central / State Government; iii) Passed Secondary School Examination or equivalent or any higher examination from a recognized Board / University or equivalent through Hindi medium or had offered Hindi as a subject in Secondary School Examination or equivalent or any higher examination from a recognized Board / University or equivalent. Desirable : i) Five years’ experience of legislative drafting in Hindi in Central / State Government. ii) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Hindi as a subject or medium at degree level. Duties : Preparation of authentic translation into Hindi of Central Statutes, Bills, Rules, Regulations etc. HQ : New Delhi.

7.(Vacancy No. 10112107213) One Assistant Public Prosecutor in Department of Personnel & Administrative Reform, Union Territory Administration of Daman & Diu. Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Three years’ experience at
the Bar. Desirable : i) Experience as Public Prosecutor / Government Advocate. ii) Knowledge of local language(Gujarati). Duties : To conduct prosecutions in courts of Magistrate on behalf of U.T of Daman & Diu. HQ : Union Territory of Daman & Diu.

N.B. The age limit shown against all Sl.Nos is normal age limit. The age is relaxable for SC candidates upto 5 years & upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
