Armed Forces Medical Service, a division of Indian Army issues notification for 380 posts of Medical Officers in Army Medical Corps (AMC).

Positions/Vacancies : Medical Officers

Number of Positions : 380

Salary: Total starting salary is approxmately Rs.42,000/-

Eligibility:

Candidates must be a minimum MBBS degree holder and must have completed internship latest by 31.03.2010. Candidate must have permanent registration from any state medical council/MCI. Candidate must have cleared MBS Degree in at most 2 attempts.

Those who have cleared MBBS in more than 2 attempts than they are not eligibilit to apply for Army Medical Corps SSC Medical Officers positions.

Post Graduate (PG) (MD/MS/MCh/DM) may also apply. Those who are st Graduate (PG) in Anaesthesia, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gyenaecology, Medicine, Orthopedics, Respiratory Medicine would be given preference.

Age: Maximum 45 years as on 31.12.2010

Selection process: Selection of Medical Officers would be based on an Interview by a board of officers at :
Army Hospital (Research & Referral)
New Delhi, Near Daula Kuan,
Delhi Cantt.
Candidates who are appearing for the Interview for the first time will be paid to and fro sleeper-class railway bus fare.
