Candidates should prepare for the written examination in advance and go through study materials available in the market. Also try to get sample papers, old question papers, solved papers, previous years sample papers etc if available.
Positions: Officers (Scale I)
Vacancies: 88 posts
Payscale: Rs.10000/- to 18240/-
Eligibility : Candidates must meet the below requirements.
Age must be between 18- 26 yrs (+5yrs for SC/ST) as on 31st march, 2010
Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized university with good knowledge in Local language & English
Bank would prefer candidates with Computer knowledge.

Last date to send filled application forms is march 6th, 2010
Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank Written Examination will be held on May 16th, 2010.
Selection procedure : Selection consists of Written Test and Interview.
Candidates must score minimum 35% in each objective tests and around 352 candidates (1:4 ratio) can be expected to be called for Interview. Exam will be conducted for 200 marks, 150 minutes.
Application : The fees of Rs.300(Gen/OBC/others) OR Rs.75(SC/ST) has to be paid by DD in favor of “Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank – RECRUITMENT PROJECT 2010’. payable at Muzaffarpur.The DD should be sent along with application & other documents to the mentioned address in the application form.

In excercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 23a of the regional rural banks act, 1976 (21 of 1976) ,the central government has amalgamated Uttar Bihar Kshetriya Gramin Bank and Kosi Kshetriya Gramin Bank (transferor regional rural banks) sponsored by Central Bank of India in the state of Bihar into a single rgional rural bank which shall be called as Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank (transferee regional rural bank) with its head office at Muzaffarpur. Now area of operation of Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank shall be in the districts of Araria, Katihar, Kishanganj, Darbhanga, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Madhepura, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, purnea, saharsa, saran, sheohar, sitamarhi, siwan, supaul, west champaran and vaishali in the state of bihar.
