Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) Probationery Officers (PO) Examination

Candidates who wish to apply for OBC PO Exam are advised to study Exam Pattern/Format, Syllabus and also go through different online sample papers, previous years question papers, past years solved papers, model question papers etc. Previous years question papers/sample paers help candidates know about possible type of questions which may come in the examination.

PO exam pattern/format:  Selection of Candidates consists of Written Exam followed by Interview (if selected).

PO Written Exam: The written test consists of 225 questions (20 marks). Questions must be answered in 135 minutes. 

Written Exam consists of following sections:


Test of General Awareness = Number of Question Asked - 50
Test of English = Number of Question Asked - 50
Test of Quantitative Aptitude = Number of Question Asked - 50
Test of Reasoning = Number of Question Asked - 75

Total Number of Questions = 225

Negative marking is there for wrong answers.

Candidates must score minimum cut-off in each test and minimum 40% marks(35% for SC/ST/OBC/PC candidates) in aggregate. OBC will declare Minimum cut-off marks later.

Descriptive test: consists of consists of four questions. Out of 4 questions you need to score 3 questions. Each question carry 20 marks. Candidates must score minimum cut-off in each test and minimum 40% marks(35% for SC/ST/OBC/PC candidates) in aggregate.

Descriptive test is a qualifying test only and you need to pass the exam. Marks you scored will not be counted in the final merit list.
