India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (ITDC), [ a Govt. of India Undertaking ] invites application for the following posts to be filled up on contract basis for a period of one year, extendable for a further period of one year on mutual consent:-
1) Advisor & Project Director for merchandizing and management of tourism
services and other services related to museum / cultural sites.
Qualification: Post Graduate in Arts (preferably history, social sciences) from recognized university.
Experience: Knowledge in History, museum activities & conservation and museology Minimum five years experience in social/Health/Education sector.

2) Advisor & Project Director for Security-education and training.
Qualifications: Graduate in Security / Intelligence / Counter Insurgency OR Post Graduate in any Management Discipline. The candidate should have Armed Forces background.
Experience: 20 years in Services Sector / Hospitality Sector Security including the Armed Forces tenure. In addition, the candidate should also have requisite experience of imparting training related to security / disaster management etc.

3) Advisor & Project Director for Culinary Arts and VVIP facilitation
Qualification: Diploma in Hotel Management from IHM OR recognized University.
Experience: Hospitality professional with minimum 25 years experience in Food Production, catering operations, preferably 5-star hotels and catering establishment pan-India, hosting national and international dignitaries.

4) Advisor & Project Director for Marketing, Franchising & Strategic alliance
Qualification: Diploma in Hotel Management from IHM or recognized University.
Experience: Proven track record in Marketing in India & Abroad. MICE Sector including event management in India & Abroad. Franchising and strategic alliance tie-ups with Hotels for expansion of Hotel network.

5) Advisor & Project Director Information & Communication Technology
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering and MBA (with specialization in IT).
Experience 15 years of relevant experience (in hospitality industry) in
i) IT Solution Development/Implementation
ii) IT & ITES Services Sales
The IT Consultant job position requires management of a broad range of information technology initiatives, projects and programs including the creation and implementation of technology and business solutions.
Job Responsibility
I) Seeking ways to apply IT Technology to business processes with reference to hospitality industry.
ii) Research and provide information on technical trends
iii) Consult with program/project management to develop/procure appropriate technical solutions
iv) Advise on options, risks, costs vs. benefits, impact on other business processes and system priorties.

EMOLUMENTS FOR THE ABOVE POSTS
Remuneration on lumpsum basis would be Rs.60,000/- per month all inclusive. In addition the selected candidate would also get reimbursement of expenses against conveyance maximum upto (Rs.8000/-), against telephone maximum upto (Rs.3000/-) & against office expenditure maximum upto (Rs.2000/-) subject to production of supporting documents. The remuneration indicated against above mentioned posts would be subject to adjustment of Pension amount or any other payment received for services rendered elsewhere.
AGE LIMIT FOR THE ABOVE POSTS
The age limit for the above mentioned posts is 65 years (as on 31-12-2010). The ITDC Management may consider extending the age limit in case of exceptionally deserving candidates.

(Iv) Mere eligibility will not vest any right on any candidate for being called for the Interview. The Management’s decision in all matters will be final. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates in connection with the process of selection / Interview.
