Indian Overseas Bank, Chennai invites application for the following posts:

Eligibility:

A candidate must be an Indian National

Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed with 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PC/Ex-Servicemen) in HSC of 10 + 2 (10+2+3) pattern or Intermediate / Pre-University or

any equivalent examination recognized by Central / State Government or U.T. Administration.

Government or U.T. Administration.

(OR)

A pass with 60% marks Diploma in Banking (55% for SC/ST/PC/Ex-Servicemen) recognized by Central / State Government or U.T.

Administration.

(OR)

A degree with a minimum of 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST/PC/Ex-Servicemen) in any discipline from a recognized University or any

equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Govt.

Age Limit: Candidates age must be Minimum of 18 Years and Maximum of 28 Years as on 1st January, 2011

About Indian Overseas Bank 

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) appeared in the year 1937 as an important bank located in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.  IOB commence its operations simultaneously from three branches Chennai, Myanmar and Karaikudi. IT department of the bank has developed many applications to provide flawless banking to its customer in more than 1200 branches.  The number of ATMs they installed throughout the country is 500. Its international VISA debit card is acceptable at all banks for charge free cash withdrawals. The bank also offers internet banking to its eminent customers. IOB customer has the privileges for online payment of taxes.
