Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) invites application for the following posts:
Positions:
1) Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (TVS, Grade-V)
Total Number Posts : 40
Pay Band-3 : Rs.9570-30000/-with grade pay of Rs.3500/- plus admissible allowances.
2) Speech Educator
Total Number Posts : 06
Pay Band-3 : Rs.9570-30,000/-with grade pay of Rs.2600/- plus admissible allowances.
Age Limit: 37 years as on 31st August 2010
Educational Qualification :- Graduate of a recognized University. (ii) Training in Education of the deaf from the I.S.I.,Calcutta or from any other recognized training institution. (iii) At least 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized school. (iv) Knowledge of Bengali.

The provision for constitution of Public Service Commission was first incorporated under Article 96C of the Government of India Act,1919. Thereafter in 1923 ‘Lee Commission’ was constituted for the purpose of formulating the principles/terms and conditions of Public Service Commission. Subsequently, as per recommendations of the ‘Lee Commission’ Federal Public Service Commission was established in India for the first time, on 1st October, 1926. Lee Commission also recommended for establishment of Provincial Public Service Commissions.
