Post Diploma in Textile Processing
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates by Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Varanasi and Salem for admission in Post Diploma in Textile Procession for the session 2010-2011
1) Post Diploma in Textile Procession
Eligibility: Degree or Diploma (Three Years) in Textiles/Handloom Technology/Textile Chemistry/Home Science with Textile and Clothing/Fibre Science/Man Made Fibre Technology/Man Made Fibre Manufacturing/BSc Chemistry (Major) with 55% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in Textile Chemistry/subjects related to textile chemistry where chemistry is one of the subjects in all three years of the course.
Candidates appearing in final year of diploma in handloom technology may also apply.
Admission Process: The admission will be made strictly on merit prepared on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination followed by the counselling at respective institute.
Reservation: 27%, 15% & 7.5% seats will be reserved for OBC, SC and ST candidates respectively.
Duration of courses: 1 1/2 years (Three Semester)
Stipend: Rs.500/- P.M.
