Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites application for the following posts for which last date to apply is 12th August 2010:

Positions:
Defence Ministry

1) Senior Scientific Officer, Grade-I (Instrumentation) in DGQA, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Defence Quality Assurance Service.
Total Number of posts : 01
Pay scale: Rs.10000/- to 15200/- plus
Age Limit: 40 years

2) Assistant Director, GradeI (Electrical) in  Micro Small Scale & Medium Enterprises.
Total Number of posts : 01
Pay scale: Rs.8000/- to 13000/- plus
Age Limit: 38 years

3) Deputy Director (Design & Documentation), Ministry of Textiles, Office of development commissioner
Total Number of posts : 01
Rs.15600/- to 39100+Rs.6600 (grade apy) plus
Age Limit: 40 years

4) Assistant Education Officer (Physical) in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi
Total Number of posts : 01
Rs.15600/- to 39100+Rs.6600 (grade apy) plus

Age Eligibility: as on 12th August 2010. The age limit shown against S.NO.2 is relaxed age limit for OBC candidates. The age limit shown against all other S.NO. is normal age limit.

Age is also relaxable for certain other categories.

Quals are relaxable at commission's discretion

Selection Procedure: Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applicaitons are received in large the commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview.
