Applications are invited from candidates who fulfill the following qualifications and other eligibility conditions as on 1st September 2010 for appointment as Director of the Samiti. The post carries pay in the Revised Pay-Band-PB3 Rs. 15600-39100 admissible to the Central Government employees.
(a) Age as on 1st September 2010
(b) Educational and other qualification:
Essential:
(i) Master Degree in Social Science from a recognised University;
(ii) 15 years administrative experience in Govt. / Autonomous Organisations/ Reputed Non-Governemnt Organisations;
(iii) Acquaintance with Gandhi philosophy and commitment for constructive work in various social fields.
Desirable:
Experience of working at the national level in the social sector in projects and programmes similar to those undertaken research in reputed national/international journals on Gandhian Studies/Philosophy and related areas.
