Walk-in interview for Laboratory Technicians (Project) on August 12, 2010 at 9 AM
The Institute invites suitably qualified, dynamic, result-oriented and dedicated
candidates to attend the walk-in interview for the four positions of Laboratory
Technician (Project) to work in a DBT-funded project. The duration of the project is three years and the position is available initially for one year on contract at a consolidated emolument of Rs 16500 per month.
Qualifications: Intermediate with Science or equivalent with either three years
relevant experience in a R&D or clinical lab or two years full time Diploma in
Medical Lab Technology course with one year relevant experience.
Job responsibilities: Preparation of glassware, media, buffer, reagents for
experiments, carry out routine clinical assays, fill up research data sheets under the supervision of senior researchers; upkeep of all sundry equipments /instruments, glassware, plastic wares etc.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1 Appointment will be made on contract for a period of one year with an initial probation
period of six months. Further continuation, if any, will depend on candidate's performance
during the initial period of one year, and the need of the institute.
2 The contractual emoluments are consolidated with no other benefits payable by the
institute.
3 The experience requirement specified shall be the experience acquired after obtaining the
minimum educational qualifications required for the post.
4 The age limit, qualification, experience and other requirements for the posts is relaxable at
the discretion of the Controlling Authority, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
5 All Educational, Professional and Technical qualifications should be from a recognized
Board/University.
6 Persons working in Government or Public Sector Undertaking should produce 'No Objection Certificate' at the time of interview.
