Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the below mentioned post of Assistant Development Officer (REBT)

Positions:

Assistant Development Officer (REBT)

Total Number of posts: 06

1) Eligibility :

(A) Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India.

(B) Educational qualification: 

Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Telecommunication Computer,IT, Bio-technology Engineering with five year experience 

OR

Degree in Science with Maths or Physics OR Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Telecommunication etc. Computer, IT Engineering with seven year experience

2) Age: Not below 18 years and not above 27 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India (and not the closing date prescribed for Far Flung Area).

Relaxation:

SC/ST : By 5 years.

Ex-Serviceman : By 3 years in addition to usual period of service in the defence forces subject to maximum age of 50 years. Govt. /Employees of KVIC 35 years.

3) Selection Procedure:

(A) Selection will be on the basis of performance in personal interview.

(B) The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.

(C) Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and it will not be convenient or possible for the KVIC to interview all the candidates, the KVIC at their discretion may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit by any one  or more of the following method:

i) On the basis of their qualifications higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement, or

ii) On the basis of the experience in the relevant field. or

iii) By holding a screening test.

The candidate should therefore, mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field over and above the minimum qualifications and should attach attested /self certified copies of the certificate in support thereof. 

4) Appointment: The candidates selected will be posted anywhere in India.

5) How to apply: Applications format should be typed neatly in Hindi or English. About KVIC

The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is a statutory body formed by the Government of India, under the Act of Parliament, 'Khadi and Village Industries Commission Act of 1956'. It is an apex organization under Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Govt. of India), with regard to khadi and village industries within India, which seeks to - "plan, promote, facilitate, organise and assist in the establishment and development of khadi and village industries in the rural areas in coordination with other agencies engaged in rural development wherever necessary.". In April 1957, it took over the work of former All India Khadi and Village Industries Board.

Its head office is based in Mumbai, with its six zonal offices in Delhi, Bhopal, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai and Guwahati. Other than its zonal offices, it has offices in 29 states for the implementation of its various programs.
