About Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
For any country to flourish, its literacy system should be appropriate and of the best quality. Education is not about imparting the high level degree or diploma courses only, but the education of the person starts at the root level, i.e. the school level. CBSE or the Central Board of Secondary Education is the government level which caters to the education system at the secondary level of education. It sets off the parameters for a universal system of education throughout Indian schools.

CBSE came in to existence not directly covering the entire country but it all started from the state of Uttar Pradesh in which the first ever board of education was setup i.e. the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education in 1921.the central India along with Gwalior and Rajputana were under its jurisdiction. Late the Government of India regularized it to the "Board of High School & Intermediate Education, Rajputana" which added cities of Ajmer, Merwara to the existing ones. It was then till 1952 that this board was transformed into CBSE and covered the entire Indian region under its educating pattern.

CBSE has been the most important board that affiliates the schools thereby setting up the required educating pattern and standards. The basic aim of this board is to maintain the uniformity to education throughout the country. CBSE affiliates all the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and all Kendriya Vidyalayas. Besides this there are many private school of India that follow the board pattern and all the school of the NCT of Delhi and other Foreign Schools follow this CBSE education pattern.
Every spring is the time when these CBSE board exams are taken into force. These examinations are an all India level examination. The CBSE offers exams as AISSE (All India Secondary School Examination) for the 10th grade students and the AISSCE (All India Senior School Certificate Examination) for the 12th grade students.
Besides this undergraduate exams like AIEEE and AIPMT are also conducted by the CBSE board thereby fostering quality education.
