Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission invites applications for the following posts, existing/ anticipated vacancies, which are to be filled up on deputation/contract recruitment basis in accordance with the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Management & Development of Human Resources) Regulations 2001 (as amended from time to time). However, the preferred mode of recruitment is deputation. 1) Joint Director (Tariff-Finance)

Pay Band – 4 Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay Rs.8700/- Group-A

2) Dy. Director (Transmission & Distribution)

Pay Band – 3 Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.6600 Group-A

3) Personnel Officer Band-2

Rs.9300-34800 With Grade Pay Rs. 4800 Group-B

4) Personal Assistant Pay Band-2

Rs.9300-34800 With Grade Pay Rs. 4200 Group-C

5) Steno-cum-Computer Operator

Pay Band-2 Rs.9300-34800 With Grade Pay Rs. 4200 Group-C

6) Cashier

Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200 With Grade Pay Rs. 2800 Group C(On deputation mode only)

7) Driver

Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200 With Grade Pay Rs. 1900 Group C (on contract mode only)

The Govt. of India had enacted the Electricity Regulatory Commissions Act, 1998 (No.14 of 1998) on 2nd July, 1998 with the objective of providing for the establishment of a Central Electricity Regulatory Commission and State Electricity Regulatory Commissions, rationalisation of electricity tariff, transparent policies regarding subsidies, promotion of efficient and environmentally benign policies and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
