Post Graduate diploma in Thermal Condensed (PGDTC)

Eligibility:

Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.

Age: Maximum 27 years as on 07.06.2010

Selection Criteria: Candidates shall be short listed on the basis of marks obtained in the Qualifying Diploma (Preferably first class) examination conducted by recognized college.

Intake Capacity: 40 (Forty) and reservation as per Govt. norms.

Placement: NPTI does not provide any guarantee for placement. However, NPTI maintains close linkages with power utilities for employment of their students. In recent time, NPTI-NER trained engineers have been selected / placed in companies’ viz. M/s. Vedanta, Adani Power, Essar Power, JSPL, Hindalco, Wartsila, CLP, Avanta Power, IPGCL, GMR, Easun Reyrolle Ltd. etc.

Fees: 1) Rs.75, 000/- (in two equal installments) for non-sponsored candidates

2) Rs.90, 000/- (in one installment) for sponsored candidates.

Additional Fees: Caution money Rs 2000/- (Refundable) and conveyance charge Rs.1800/- (one time only).

Lodging / Boarding: Facilities available for both boys and girls at extra payment of Rs 2400/- per month per student on twin sharing basis excluding food charges.

How To Apply:

Application on plain paper typed in English along with the demand draft of Rs 400/- in favour of NPTI-NER payable at Guwahati should reach the Director / Unit Head latest. along with two passport size photograph in the following format: 1. Name 2. Father’s Name 3. Date of Birth 4. Sex 5. Nationality 6. Category (Gen/SC/ST/OBC) 7. Postal Address 8.Phone No & Email, 9. Educational Qualification starting from 10th standard; stating subjects, school/university, year of passing, percentage of marks, 10. Experience 11. Sponsored- / Non- sponsored (if sponsored - attach the certificate from employer), 12. Signature.  Attach self-attested copies of proof of item No. 3, 6(if OBC/SC/ST), 9, 10 and 11.
