Who can apply for NDA Examination?
Unmarried male Indian nationals can apply for the NDA Exam. Nationals of Bhutan, Nepal & Tibet can also apply but they mus meet certain criteria. Your age must be minimum 16 1/2 years and maximum of 19 years
Educational Qualification:
For Army Wing of NDA : You must have passed Class XII
For Air Force & Naval Wings of NDA (Executive Branch) Course at Naval
Academic : You must have passed Class XII with Physics and Mathematics.
If you are currently studying Class-XII, you can also appear for the NDA Exam provided you must provide the proof of passing the Class XII exam at a later date as specified by UPSC.

NDA Exam Application fees: You need to buy application form and Central Recruitment Fee Stamp of Rs50/- for NDA exam application fee and paste it firmly within the box, after that get it cancelled from the post office. You should not staple the CRF Stamp. About National Defence Academy (NDA) Entrance Exam
National Defence Academy (NDA) Entrance Exam
Twice in a year the admission is conducted by the National Defence Academy. To get admission the candidates have to pass the entrance exam. The entrance exam includes the written exam, Group Tasks, Multiple round interviews and the medical test.
There is a vacancy for 350 candidates. Large numbers of candidates want to take admission in NDA and appearing for the entrance exams so it is very tough to get selected in the NDA.
There is even some Eligibility Criteria in NDA to get admission like the candidates must be passed in 12th standard. The candidates who are presently studying in the 12th standard can also apply for the entrance exam. The candidates who are interested in Navy and Air force should have the subject physics and mathematics in the 12th standard. The age also matter for getting admission in NDA as the age of candidate must be more than 16.5 years and less than the 19 years. Also the basic requirement is that the candidate must be medically and physically fit.
The candidate must submit the application forms before the last date of submission otherwise the form must not be accepted. The admission form is similar to the all other UPSC exams application form and it is easily available in the post offices of the country.
There are two papers of the NDA entrance exam named Mathematics and the General ability Test. The marks of mathematics are 300 and the marks of general ability test are 600. The time duration of the paper is 150 minutes each.
The general ability test paper is divided in 2 part first part is English which is 200 marks and the other one is GK (general knowledge) of 400 marks. The candidates who are passed in the written exam are called for the multiple round interview, then group tasks and medical Test. If the candidates pass in all these things then only he/she is selected for the NDA.
