SELECTION PROCEDURE
(POST CODE -01) (Officer: Scale- I)
The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of written test and interview. All the eligible candidates, who apply with the requisite application fee and whose applications are received in time will be called for a written test, which will be objective type comprising:
1) Reasoning
Total Number of Questions: 50
Maximum Marks: 50
2) Quantitative Aptitude
Total Number of Questions: 50
Maximum Marks: 50
3) General Awareness
Total Number of Questions: 50
Maximum Marks: 50
4) English Language
Total Number of Questions: 50
Maximum Marks: 50
(Test papers of Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness will be printed
in Hindi & English).
POST CODE – 02 (Clerk-cum-Cashier)
The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of written test and interview. All the eligible candidates, who apply with the requisite application fee and whose applications are received in time will be called for a written test, which will be of objective type comprising:
1) Reasoning Ability
Total Number of Questions: 50
Maximum Marks: 50
2) Numerical Ability
Total Number of Questions: 50
Maximum Marks: 50
3) Clerical Aptitude
Total Number of Questions: 50
Maximum Marks: 50
4) English Language
Total Number of Questions: 50
Maximum Marks: 50
(Test papers of Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability and Clerical Aptitude will be printed in
Hindi & English).
NOTE (FOR BOTH POST):
(a) For the purpose of preparing merit list after the written examination, weighted average score out of maximum 80 marks will be worked out for the aggregate marks obtained in first three papers.
(b) The candidates must obtain minimum of 35% marks (30% marks for SC) in each paper in written examination.
(c) The test of English language is only a qualifying exam and the candidates have to obtain minimum of 35% marks (30% marks for SC) to qualify in it.
(d) There will be negative marks for the wrong answers.
Marks obtained in the written test will be reckoned for merit ranking as explained at (a) to (d) above. Accordingly, candidates will be called for personal interview. Depending upon the number of vacancies only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the written test will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:4. Mere eligibility / pass in the written test shall not vest any right for being called for interview. The decision of the Bank in this regard shall be final.

Nainital Almora Kshetriya Gramin Bank Sponsored by Bank of Baroda was established on 26th March, 1983. The area of operation of the Bank is Nainital, Almora, Bageshwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. The main objective behind establishment of the Bank was to provide banking facilities in rural area and provide financial assistance particularly to small, marginal farmers, landless laborers and other weaker sections.
Nainital Almora Kshetriya Gramin Bank comes under scheduled Bank included in 2nd schedule of Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 and is authorised to do banking business defined in Section 6 in Banking Regulation Act. Like other banks customers' deposits are insured as per rules by Deposit Insurance & Credit Guarantee Corporation.
