BIT Mesra PG Diploma Courses Admission 
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following postgraduate diploma programmes of the Institute for the session 2010-11 (Spring 2011), which are offered in collaboration with Lotus Clinical Research Academy Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore (LCRA).

1.  PG Diploma programme in Bioanalytical Techniques –1 year (2-semesters)

2.  PG Diploma programme in Pharmacovigilance –1 year (2-semesters)

A) How to Apply:  Download and print the application form. Send completed form (in A4 Size envelope) with required enclosures and crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- (in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi) to office of the Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi 835215, by the due date. Write PG Diploma 2010 (SP 2011) on the envelope.

B) Important Dates:

The application form will be available on the website from:   17 January 2011

Last date for receipt of completed forms at Mesra is:   17 February 2011

C) Total number of seats:

(a) Bioanalytical Techniques   - 30 

(b) Pharmacovigilance,  - 30

C) Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must hold a B. Pharm degree from a PCI and AICTE approved Institute / MBBS / BVSc / BDS / BAMS / M.Sc. Life Sciences degree from a recognized University. Candidates must have a first class or minimum 60% marks in average (45% for SC/ST) in graduation / postgraduation (QE). In case the examining Board does not award a class, the percentage marks in graduation / postgraduation will be computed as average of marks obtained in all subjects in which candidate has appeared (excluding optional subjects).

Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, (Hindi: बिरला प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान मेसरा ) (popularly known as BIT Mesra or BIT Ranchi) is an autonomous engineering and technology institute located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.
