Prospective candidates are invited for Walk-in-Interview on 10th Feb 2011 at 09:00 AM in the Dept. of Bio-Technology, BIT Mesra for the post of Junior Research Fellow under sponsored DST project entitled “Indigenous development of 1μm swept source optical coherence tomography (SSOCT) setup for biomedical imaging of animal eye [No. IDP/MED/10/2010 dated 11/11/2010]” under the supervision of Dr. R. Poddar, Principal Investigator.

1) Junior Research Fellow [JRF]

Qualification: B.E/ B. Tech/M. Tech in Optoelectronics / Instrumentation/electroni cs and communication engineering

or

M. Sc Physics / Applied Physics with specialization in Fiber Optics/Applied Optics/ Nonlinear Optics.

Desirable: Strong computer application skills and prior research experience in Applied Optics will be of advantage.

Duration: 01 year 

(extend able upto 2 yrs.)

Fellowship: Rs. 12000/- pm + HRA (as per Institute Rule)
