D.M. Cardiology/ DNB, Cardiology
As per MCI regulation of teaching experience as a Reader/ Associate Professor in Cardiology in recognized institution by
Medical Council of India. Publication as per MCI norms.
2) Associate Professor
Total Number of posts = 01
Educational Qualification:
D.M. Cardiology/ DNB, Cardiology
2 years teaching experience as a Assistant Professor/ Lecturer in Cardiology recognized institution by Medical Council of
India. Publication as per MCI norms.
3) Assistant Professor
Total Number of posts = 01
Educational Qualification:
D.M. Cardiology/ DNB, Cardiology
4) Sr. Resident
Total Number of posts = 02
Qualification: DNB in Cardiology/ M.D. (General Medicine)/ equivalent there to in the subject concerned.

About The Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS)
The Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) is an institute at Ranchi University which is situated in Bariatu about 6 km from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand State of India. The school is an autonomous body established under an act of Jharkhand Assembly.
The institute was established in 1960 and originally called Rajendra Medical College Hospital after Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. The medical college hospital came into existence in February 1965.
Dr N.L. Mitra was the first principal of the college. He was also Professor and Head of the Department of Anatomy. Dr. K.P.Shrivastav was the first director of the institute after it was renamed. Dr N N Agrawal is the current director of the institute. Currently RIMS is in news for its upgradation. The institute provides free medical service to the patients along with many medicines. Developments in the field of surgery is evolving and taking the form of minimal access cosmetically sound (MACS) surgery.
