Last date of submission of online application form is 12th May, 2010
Last date for receiving call letter: 22nd June, 2010
Duplicate call letter Will be issued from 23rd June, 2010 to 26th June 2010
Date of Clerical written exam is on 27th June, 2010
Selection process: The Syndicate Bank probationary clerks exam consists of written test and interview. Written Test consists of 200 marks objective test.
Syndicate Bank Written Test consists of following four tests:
Test of Reasoning
Test of Numerical Ability
Test of Computer Awareness
Test of English Language
Eligibilities:
Age Eligibility: Candidates minimum gae should be 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 1st March, 2010
Academic Eligibilities: Minimum 60% in class 12th or equivalent. (55% for SC/ST/PC/EXS Candidates)

About Syndicate Bank
Syndicate Bank, a leading nationalized bank was started on 10th Nobember 1925 at Udupi, Karnataka. It began with the name of ‘Canara Industrial and Banking Syndicate Ltd..,’ a joint stock Company with only one employee on list. The starting capital was just Rs. 8000/- invested by three men – Sri Upendra Anath Pai, Sri. Vaman Kudya, and Dr. T M A Pai, businessman, engineer and a doctor by profession respectively. Their main aim was to provide financial assistance to the local weaver’s community who were going through tough times due to a severe crisis in the handloom industry. They started a Pigmy Deposit scheme in 1928, where they collected small amounts like just 2 annas daily from the depositors through agents. The same scheme has become a brand equity for the bank at present wherein atleast Rs. 2 crore is being collected on a daily basis. The first branch was opened at Brahmavar in Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka. As the banking sector grew non-stop, Syndicate bank expanded with the time to a gigantic banking organization. It was named as ‘Syndicate Bank Limited’ on 19th April 1964 and the head office was shifted to Manipal. With a reliable 80 years of banking and finance to its credit, Syndicate bank has retained a mass of loyal depositors who have been the customers for generations now. The bank has a solid presence in the rural India and has introduced a number of farmer friendly schemes. The bank believes in the philosophy of mutual sustenance, which has resulted in prosperity to both the bank as well as its coveted customers. Over the years bank has successfully updated its internal systems to meet the needs of the modern techno savy customers. The staff is being trained from to time to keep them updated. Syndicate Bank has recently started a program titled “Centralised Banking Solution (CBS) which has around 500 well-equipped branches serve the customers along with ATM services.

My friend completed inermediate with 547 marks and belong to sc category.Is he eligible for syndicate bank clerks
