Annamalai University was come in to existence by munificence of intuitive, noble-hearted humanitarian and patron of letters, Honorable Dr. Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar from Chettinad. He started numerous colleges, and in the end, the University in the year 1929. 

Annamalai University is the unitary inhabited University imparting instruction for Post-Graduate as well as Professional Programs in a number of disciplines, also providing research programs like Ph.D., D.Sc. and D.Litt. Program offered are MBA. MCA, BDS, MBBS, BPT, B.Pharm and B.Sc (Nursing) 

Entrance Examination for MBA and MCA 

Entrance Examinations for MBA and MCA programs of Annamalai University are conducted every year. Appearing for Entrance Examinations is obligatory for Candidates looking for admissions in above Programs. The Entrance Exams are to the students of Tamil Nadu as well as other Indian states. 

Eligibility

MBA: Graduation from any discipline with minimum 50% marks

MCA: Graduation from any discipline having Mathematics as obligatory subject. The Candidates also must pass Degree examinations with minimum of 55% in the Part III

For SC/ST candidates, the minimum qualification is just passing the exam Selection for above Programs will be administered by procedures laid down through the University.

Application Procedure

Application forms may be acquired personally by Cash payment from University Cash Counter in all working Days except holidays, all Saturdays and Sundays or other Government Holidays

To receive Application forms through Post, candidates need to send an application letter with Demand Draft of Rs.200/-. SC/ ST candidates need to send Demand Draft of only Rs.100/-. All the candidates need to send a photo copy of Community Certificate which should be duly attested by Gazetted Officer.

The Demand Draft need to be drawn favoring The Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar - 608 002 from any Bank in Chennai as well as one self-addressed Envelop having size of 35 cm × 15 cm and stamps affixed on it worth Rs.15/-
