W A L K - I N - I N TE R V I E W
Following posts are to be filled up under Indo-US Project entitled “Evaluation of progesterone vaginal ring (PVR) as a new contraceptive option in India”, funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), at the Central Coordinating Unit, Division of Reproductive Health & Nutrition, Indian Council of Medical Research, Ramalingaswamy Bhawan, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi – 110029

Research Scientist- II./ Scientist ‘C’ (Medical) - (one)

Salary : Rs. 44,179/- + HRA (medical)

Qualification : Essential : MBBS with 2 years of research experience
Desirable : MD (OBGY/Preventive medicine). Research experience in conducting Clinical trials/Field trials in the area of Reproductive Health.

Age : up to 40 years (relaxation upto 5 years for Govt. of India rules). Relaxation of age for experienced and deserving candidates also admissible.

Nature of duties : To assist in implementing, monitoring and evaluation of project activities, compiling reports and visiting study sites and any other activity assigned by the Project Investigator(s)/Project Coordinator(s).

Manage all aspects of information on participants recruitment, referral and follow-up including obtaining and rectifying missing and incomplete data for the study. Monitor work being conducted at the study sites through scrutinizing data in CRFs and visits to the study clinics.

Research Associate (Non-Medical) (One)

Salary : Rs. 23,000 (fixed + HRA ) with upto three years Post-doctoral
research experience)

Qualification : Essential: Ph. D in Reproductive Health or Reproductive Biology.
Desirable : 3 years Post-doctoral research experience.

Age : 40 years (relaxation as per Govt. of India rules). For women candidates upper age limit relaxed by two years. Relaxation of age for experienced and deserving candidates also admissible.

Nature of duties : To assist in monitoring and evaluation of project activities, compiling reports for external evaluation of the study and any other activity assigned by the Project Investigator(s)/Project Coordinator(s).

Monitor all aspects of participant information including on participants recruitment, follow-up and discontinuations. Liaison with DBT for provision of monthly progress reports, including monitoring of expenditure and fund requirements for the study. May also be required to travel with external monitoring team of DBT to study sites.

The posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis. The appointment is terminable with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason. Since the post is purely temporary the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project. Age relaxation is for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. Rules and no TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the walk-in-interview/discussion.
