West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 

West Bengal JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) is the entrance exam organized for Indian Citizens to get admission for undergraduate courses for Engineering, Medical, Technology, Pharmacy, and Dental in Colleges and Universities in the West Bengal. The admission procedure is based on Joint Entrance Exam and will be conducted by "West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board". Eligibility Criteria

The student should be Indian citizen and must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or its counterpart exam. General candidates should need to secure minimum 50% marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or Mathematics together (minimum 40% to SC/ST candidates) with minimum of 30% in English (to all categories). Additionally, candidates need to secure minimum passing marks in subjects separately including vernacular for more details go through the website. 

Age Relaxation

Candidates should have 17 years or above age. There is no upper limit except in Marine Engineering course in which the age border is 25 years. 

Reservation

Reservation for the SC/ST candidates is according to the state government rules.

Examination Centre

The examination centres are Tripura and West Bengal 

Application Form Cost 

The application kit is available at different UBI (United Bank of India) branches by paying Rs 500/- (for E or M type form) plus Rs 600/- (for type C form) through cash.

The application kit can also be received through post from board’s office by paying additional Rs 200/-. The total amount should be paid via demand draft favoring West Bengal JEM (Joint Entrance Examination) board, and payable at Kolkata.
