VACANCY CIRCULAR
Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament, invites applications for filling up a few existing/anticipated vacancies on deputation on foreign Service terms / short-term contract from the employees of Central/State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Recognized Research Institutions etc. The details of the posts like scale of pay, required qualifications /qualifying service and experience etc. are given in Annexure-

CERC is a statutory body functioning under sec - 76 of the Electricity Act 2003 (CERC was initially constituted under the Electricity Regulatory Commissions Act, 1998 on 24th July, 1998)
The Commission intends to promote competition, efficiency and economy in bulk power markets, improve the quality of supply, promote investments and advise government on the removal of institutional barriers to bridge the demand supply gap and thus foster the interests of consumers.
