Puducherry Joint Entrance Test (Puducherry JET)

Puducherry JET (Joint Entrance Test) is organized every year for admissions of students of the 1st year B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.D.S, B.V.Sc & Ah, B.Sc (Nursing), B.P.T and B.SC (MLT) courses for government sponsored colleges in Puducherry. It may be organized through Centralized Admission Committee. Admission is approved to students on basis of the performance of the entrance test. Higher Secondary exam results of students are contacted during time of admission. 

Puducherry JET (Joint Entrance Test) Pattern

Puducherry JET (Joint Entrance Test) has 3 types of papers: Paper I is of Mathematics, Paper II is of Physical Science and Paper III is of Biology. All 3 papers organized are having 2 hours duration and has objective type questions. Candidates desiring to take admission in the B.Tech course have to take the examination of Paper I and II. For all other courses students have to take Paper II and III. 

Candidates desiring admission in the B.Pharm courses need to appear in Paper II, which is obligatory. 

Test Centers

The test centers for Puducherry JET (Joint Entrance Test) exam are Puducherry, Yanam, Karaikal and Mahe.

Application Procedure 

Candidates need to send Rs.565 through demand draft along with an application letter to The Convenor, CENTAC (Centralised Admission Committee), Pondicherry Engineering College Campus, Puducherry, 605014. 

The draft must be favoring “Convenor, CENTAC”, to be paid at Puducherry. 

You also need to send 2 slips (self addressed). For SC/ST candidates, fee amount needed is Rs. 190. Application forms may also be acquired from selected post offices by paying Rs.520 (Rs.145 for SC/ST candidates). The properly filled application form with other necessary documents must be sent to this address:
