Medical Council of India MCI Stenographer Computer Operator Jobs


Medical Council of India (MCI)
POCKET-14, SECTOR-8, PHASE-I, DWARKA,

Applications are invited for the following posts in the Council office.

1) Stenographer Grade - II
Total Number of posts: 03 (2 Gen., 1SC)  

Educational &  Other Qualification :  

Qualification : 
A Degree from recognized University.  100 w.p.m. speed in Stenography and 40 w.p.m.  speed in typing in English language. 
  
Experience :
8 years regular service as Stenographer Grade III in  the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.4000-6000 (revised  - Rs.5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs.2400) in the  Govt./Public sector undertaking/Statutory Body or Autonomous organization/Teaching institutions.  

Age  Between 25 to 35 years.  

2) Stenographer Grade - III
Total Number of posts: 03 (1Gen., 1 OBC, 1 SC)

Scale of Pay  Pay Band – 1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs.2400 & other allowances as admissible. 

Educational & Other Qualification:   

Qualification :
Matriculation or its equivalent. A Speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand (English) and a minimum speed of 40 w.p.m. in English Typing. 

Desirable Qualification :
A degree from a recognised University/ Institutio

Age Between 18 to 27 years.   

3)  Computer Operator 
Total Number of posts 02 
(1 Gen., 1 OBC)  

Scale of Pay : Pay Band – 1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs.2400 & other allowances as admissible. 

Educational & Other Qualifications :

Qualification :
A degree from a recognised University or equivalent qualification and a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work. 

Note : The speed of 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work is to be judged by conducting a speed test on the EDP Machine(s) by the Competent Authority.

Experience :
With 3 years regular service as Data entry operator Grade I in the scale of Rs.3050-4590 (Pre-revised) revised to Rs.5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs.1900/-.  

Age Between 18 to 27 years.

4)  Lower Division Clerk  

Total Number of posts: 04 (2 Gen., 1 SC, 1 ST) 

Scale of Pay Pay Band – 1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs.1900 & other allowances as admissible. 

Educational & Other Qualification :
12th or equivalent qualification from a recognised board. Typing Speed of 30 w.p.m. in English.

Age Between 18 to 27 years.  

Five years relaxation in the  upper age limit is permissible for Government servants and SC/ST Category and three years for OBC Category.     

NOTE:  
1.   The selection to the above posts shall be made on the basis of written examination and/or interview as deemed fit.   

2.   Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualifications as on the date of application.   

3.   Mere possession of minimum qualification does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview/test.   

4.   Candidates already in Government service, must      submit        their     application through proper channel.   

5.   The Organisation will not be responsible for late/non-receipt of call letters for written examination/interview due to postal delay.   

6.   Only short listed candidates will be called for interview/test.   

7.   Council may accept or reject any application and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.   

8.   Candidates, who are desirous to apply for more than one post, are required to submit   separate   application for each post.   

9.   Only selected candidates will be informed in due course and no correspondence on the subject would be entertained.   

10.   The number of vacancies/posts to be filled may vary due to promotion/resignation etc. during the process of recruitment.  The exact number of vacancies will be determined by the office at the time of filling-up the posts.

About Medical Council of India (MCI) 
The Medical Council of India (MCI) was the statutory body for maintenance of uniform and high standards of medical education in India. The Council grants recognition of medical qualifications, gives accreditation to medical colleges, grants registration to medical practitioners, and monitors medical practice in India. The current chairman of MCI is Dr. Shiv Kumar Sarin.
The MCI was dissolved by the President of India on May 15, 2010 following the arrest on April 22 2010 of MCI's president Ketan Desai by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Desai and three others was arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe to permit Patiala-based Gyan Sagar Medical College to recruit a fresh batch of students without having adequate infrastructure. Desai, alleged middle-man J. P. Singh and doctors Sukhwinder Singh and Kanwaljit Singh have been booked under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
