All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) issued notification for MBBS Entrance Examination. AIIMS MBBS Written exam will be held on 1st June, 2010 and results will be declared on 15th July, 2010.

AIIMS Exam Pattern:

Physics = 60 questions and 60 marks
Chemistry = 60 questions and 60 marks
Botany/Zoology  = 60 questions and 60 marks
GK = 20 questions and 20 marks
Total = 200 questions and 200 marks

What is the number of MBBS seats at AIIMS?

In 2010 total 77 seats for MBBS Admission
Out of 77 seats 37 for General candidates, 11 for SC candidates, 5 for ST candidates, 19 for OBC candidates and 5 for Foreign Nationals.

Entrance Exam Eligibility: Candidates must have 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in Class-XII or an equivalent examination.
Age Eligibility: Minimum 17 years as on 31.12.2010
Students whose results results are expected to be declared by 7th July, 2010 also can apply

Eligibility for Foreign nationals:

Candidates should have minimum 50% marks aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination.

How to apply for AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam?
You can apply Online/Offline mode.

Offline application form : You can get Prospectus-cum-Application Form by sending a request letter to the below address:
The Assistant Controller of Examinations,
All India Institute of Medical Sciences,
Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, 110 608.

You must send application fee along with the request letter (Rs 850/- for SC/ST candidates and Rs.1050/- for other candidates) An account payee DD in favour of “ACCOUNTS OFFICER (EXAMS), AIIMS” payable at “New Delhi”. DD validity should be upto July/August 2010. Request latter should reach by  15th march, 2010. On the envoloy do not forget to mention “REQUEST FOR APPLICATION FORM FOR MBBS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2010”

You can the fees through Challan at any Branch of State Bank of India or through Credit Cards/Net Banking.

Date of issue of Admit Cards (offline only): First week of May, 2010

AIIMS MBBS Entrance written exam: 1st June, 2010 (Tuesday)
(10.00 AM to 1.30 PM)
AIIMS MBBS Entrance result would be declared on 15th July, 2010
