Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) recently issued notification for Engineer Trainee (ET) vacancies. Power Grid ET Written Test on 18th April, 2010
Positions:
Executive Trainee (Electrical): 63
Executive Trainee (Finance): 27
Salary: pay scale of Rs. 24900-50500, Post training it is Rs. 11.0 lakhs per annum.
Age: as on 25the feb.2010, Maximum 28 years, Age relaxations exists as per Govt rule.
Academic Qualification:
Executive Trainee (Electrical) - Candidatemust be minimum of 65% in BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics engineering. For SC/ST/PH candidates it is pass marks only.
Executive Trainee (Finance) - Candidates who are CA/ICWA can only apply.

How to apply Power Grid ET Exam:
DD of Rs 400/- in favour of ‘Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.’ payable at New Delhi from SBI only from general and OBC candidates.
Power Grid receives application through online systesm only. You need to enter payment details while applying online. After you apply online you need to take print out of your application. Send the print out of the application along with other documents to the below address:
