RRB Secunderabad Assistant Loco Pilot 2010 Recruitment Notification

RRB Secunderabad invites application in prescribed format from Indian Nationals for the following posts:

Position: Assistant Loco Pilot

Closing Date:  2nd march, 2010 (17.30 hrs)

Closing Date for people living in the remote areas and abroad: 17th march, 2010

Remote Area Regions: Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Lahaul & Spiti districts and Pangi sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Andaman, Nicobar and Lakshwadeep islands.

Important Notes:

All the participating RRBs will held written examination on the same day.

Candidates have the option to choose one of the regional languages at the time of applying for the position.

Women Candidates / Minority Candidates/Economically Backward class candidates having annual family income less than Rs. 50,000.0 are exampted from exam fee. Candidates whose application has been rejected may apply again. Candidates who already applied in earlier notification but exam was not held, they need not apply again to the same RRB

RRB Secunderabad was established in the year 1978. It cater to the recruitment needs of railway divisions. RRB, Secunderabad at present consists of Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Guntakal, Vijayawada and Guntur, divisions and all workshops and Headquarters office of South Central Railway, Indian Railways Institute of signal Engineering and Telecommunications, Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam Divisions of East Coast Railway.

Recruitments are purely based on merit position obtained by the candidates in the written examinations subject to reservations for SC, ST and OBCs.
