UPSC invites application on prescribed format by 18th March, 2010 from candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, J&K, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, A&N Islands or Lakshadweep or Abroad.
Defence Ministry:
Position: Junior Works Manager (Mechanical) in ordinance Factory Board,
Total Number of Posts = 84
Age Eligibility: Candidate's age should be between 21-30 years as on normal closing date and 21-35 for SC/ST candidates
Home Affairs Ministry:
Position: Deputy Central Intelligence Officers (Technical)
Total Number of Posts = 10
Age Eligibility: Candidate should not Not Exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date.
Syllabus: Syllabus os the test comprises the following : Scientific temper relating to basic understanding of science including everyday observation and experience, Instrumentation, fundamental of basic electronics , fundamentals of computerization and network, aptitude data interpretation, communication skills, basic questions on maintenance, current events regarding science and technology, data and image interpretation, fundamentals of information security.
