SBI PO Exam Pattern Question Papers Objective & Descriptive tests

State Bank of India (SBI) is going to recruit 4500 Probationary Officers (PO) (including 2500 PO - Rural). Written test for the recruitment will be held on 11th April, 2010

Selection Process: consists of Written Test (250 marks), GD and Interview (50 marks).

SBI PO Written Exam – Duration of the test is 3 hours of 250 marks
Objective test consists of 200 marks and Descriptive test consists of 50 marks. All the tests will be conducted on the same day.  

The Objective test consists of following sections:

Test of English Language 
Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers
Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation 
Test of Reasoning (High Level)

The Descriptive test is of one hour duration. The Test will be evaluated only for candidates who have scored high percent in each objective test & have overall 40%.

Candidates must score the qualifying marks for this test which is 40%, 20 marks to proceed to final phase.

GD & Interview : Candidates who scored higher marks (higehr percentage) in written test will be called for GD & Interview. Candidates who could secure a minimum of 40% out of the total 50 marks will be considered for final selection.
